Is it you? Is it your environment? Is it the people you are hanging around? Is it your negativity? Is it your morals, values or upbringing? Who or what do you blame? Can you admit that sometimes it's ME? Why didn't that deal work out? Why didn't I get that job, deal, business, marriage, child, family, house, car, friend, promotion, credit, etc...? What excuses are you using to settle your heart and mind instead of admitting that maybe perhaps It's ME. Yes, I said it and you read it. I am the issue here, not everyone else. I am in my own way and in order to get ahead in this life I need to be transformed now, rather than later.
Let's try it now: Lord, help me. Search my heart, mind, soul, mouth, and thoughts. Help me to see you, hear you, know you, understand you, and love you. Change and transform me to be what you have called and purposed me for. I want to stop running and face the fact and admit that sometimes it's Me. I need you, Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.
