Oh my gosh, the moon is so bright tonight, go outside and check it out; do you see it? No, all I see are clouds. Seriously! You are right across the street from me; what do you mean all you see are clouds? "All I see are clouds with the shadow of the moon".
This simple scenario, unfortunately, happens all the time in 'SHIPS.' Have you ever been in a romantic relationSHIP, business relationSHIP, a partnerSHIP, or any other type of SHIP, and the person you are becoming or have become is diminished by them or it? What do I mean by this? Are you a naturally outgoing, fun, witty, happy, joy-filled person, but when you are around certain people all those beautiful distinctions about you can not be seen by outsiders? This, my friend, is diminished capacity!
It's just like the example that one person sees the big, beautiful, and bright moon, and the other sees the same moon obscured. Have you, or are you currently hidden? Listen, God created you for a whole purpose, and it's not to be buried underneath a bushel of someone else's expectations. What did God say about you? Believe it! Receive it! Walk into it! Let's go to the bible! Matthew 5:14-16
14 "You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden.15 No one lights a lampstand and puts it under a basket, but instead on a lampstand, giving light to all in the house.16 Similarly, let your light shine before others so they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
Okay. You are worth so much more than that and them. If they can't see your value and worth, it's time to bounce. Got me! You are God's child (if you are not, you can change that today)!
Your worth and value are not determined by man but by God. You were never meant to be kept on a leash, you were meant to reflect the light of your creator so others can glorify Him, you are exactly who He created you to be. Full of love and life. Live it today, and decide to get out of that SHIP.
Your capacity will no longer be diminished but will now magnify to reflect light to the world! Like the sun escaping from an eclipse or shining brightly after a thunderstorm, you were meant to shine, dear! The choice now lies on your shoulders; make it right for you. Hear me loud and clear; every situation is not suitable for a get up right now and move. Pray and ask God to give you wisdom and discernment of when and how, then go and do not delay when He provides the answer, do not look back, keep going forward because you are a warrior!
Father God, give all readers reading this post the wisdom, courage and strength to move out and away from these diminishing capacity relationships. I pray for their mind and mindsets to be transformed continually by the Holy Spirit, In Jesus name, amen!
To those who are not saved: say this prayer out loud or to yourself;
God, I need you; I can not make it without you; I surrender all I am to you. I have sinned and am a sinner saved by your darling son's blood; please forgive me. I accept you as my Lord and savior from this day forward. In Jesus's name, amen!
