Jesus reminds us in John 16:33 that this world will not always be peaches and cream all the time. We will have heartache, heartbreak, headaches, and crushing moments that may feel like you will never see daylight. Jesus knew this and encouraged us that even though it hurts and the tears may not stop overnight, our pain is not permanent. It will eventually get better. Some adjustments may need to be implemented to our lifestyle. Maybe we need to spend more time on our knee mail instead of our email, or perhaps we need to spend some extra time in His book instead of on Facebook. What about viewing His history-gram instead of the latest Instagram post. God brings us to seasons, situations, circumstances in our life that break us to our very core so we can see He was our center all along. Friends, as I type this to encourage you, I am also encouraging myself, Erikah; it's not permanent.
